Are you ready to begin your journey?

You’re in the right place so make yourself comfortable

Starting therapy can be challenging if you have never done it, but you are in the right place. We understand the challenges of trying something different, so we will work with you to help you through all your fears, worries, and concerns because we know that coming in person to therapy can cause anxiety, but DON’T WORRY! WE GOT YOU! When you come to your first session:

  1. Dress comfortably (comfy socks and a cozy sweater)

  2. Bring a drink and snack (water, tea, cold drink and candy)

  3. Bring things that will enhance your therapy. This could include photos, a journal, poetry, projects your working on. (This can help you explain or express yourself if needed)

  4. Bring your true self. You don’t have to be afraid to be you. No judgement will ever come from us.

*We also have sensory items to assist with talking about difficult situations.

Stay afraid, but do it anyway. What’s important is the action. You don’t have to wait to be confident. Just do it and eventually the confidence will follow.
